"It's been five years since he moved to Gruegel. His heart grows wild."
Preceeded: Departure from Homeland
Unlocks: Gustave and the Blacksmith
Sophie and Gustave have moved into a mansion in Gruegel that King Sui of Na has graciously alloted to them. However, Gustave has become rebellious and discontented at not having Anima powers as well as his new, lowly status in society. His attitude and background as a member of the royalty of the Eastern Continent causes children his age to avoid him.
Gustave only has one faithful friend, Flynn, who shares the lack of Anima. He patiently puts up with Gustave's fits of temper and always remains at his side.
Despite her sorrow, Sophie does her best to instill self-confidence in her son, pointing out that many things thrive without the use of Anima. Brief idyllic moments at the water's edge are the only joy Gustave and Flynn can experience. However, their time in Gruegel will soon come to an end.
